Muriel's Wedding the great dark comedy that made Toni Collete famous. In this scene, she has recently escaped her dull and monotonous life and moved to Sydney with her friend Rhonda. a friend quoted a line from abba's Dancing Queen.
Toni put on a fair bit of weight for this role (as it was the role of the 'ugly' one), she is a bit of a looker (she looks good in this film too... but I'm just saying, for those who demand their women to be uber thin). She's not afraid of looking less than her best for a role... she never looks great in About a Boy or others she's been in.
And yeah, funny film, funny scene
