He's not really playing the song is he? I don't know what he's playing. He seems to be flicking from rhythm guitar, lead guitar and vocals and then to random harmonies.

Granted it's difficult to get the really fast sections on violin especially the sweeps and all that jazz, but still, if he played this to me without the song in the background i'd look at him rather quizzically.

Upvoting because my arm get's freaking sore after playing only a couple of minuts on medium on a five note fake guitar... =)

ps. The effort to do an improvisation by ear (doesn't look like he's working off sheet music X ) on such a long/fast track is very impressive even if he does swap around which part he is actually playing.
